Girls Inc. of Alameda County needed an online presence that reflected their distinct voice, engaged their clients and donors, yet adhered to the identity of the national Girls Inc. brand. For the new website, we partnered with a world-class photographer to document their work and the girls they serve. Those photographs served as the foundation for the redesign. The new site is responsive, easy to update, bold, compelling, and current, and even caught the attention of Girls Inc.’s national headquarters, inspiring changes to the national brand.
Girls Inc. of Alameda County connects girls from underserved neighborhoods with access to the resources and opportunities they need to navigate gender, economic, and racial barriers, and realize their potential. Housed in the beautiful Simpson Center in downtown Oakland, Girls Inc. of Alameda County provides innovative programs for girls in elementary, middle, and high school, and is relentless in its commitment to inspire girls to be strong, smart and bold. Girls Inc. has impacted the lives of 10,568 girls through programs, services, training, and outreach.
“The updates to the website look incredible. The AC team was essential to the success as the changes suggested enabled for cleaner, clearer communications of our impact. To our partnership!”
