Uniting the sponsorship community to welcome more refugees
Refugee Welcome Collective provides in-depth training programs, as well as weekly learning sessions, resources, and technical assistance to resettlement partners and refugees. Their goal is to improve outcomes for refugees resettled through the U.S. Refugee Admissions program by expanding community sponsorship locally and nationally.
We partnered with Refugee Welcome Collective to name the organization and design their brand identity, logo, and website. We simultaneously partnered with Refugee Housing Solutions, Refugee Welcome Collective’s sister organization, to name the organization and design their brand identity, logo, and website.
Logo and Visual Identity
A symbol for welcome and warmth
The Refugee Welcome Collective logo uses abstract geometric shapes to symbolize welcome. The circular enclosure suggests community, while the overlapping shapes inside imply diversity. The color palette contains a collection of vibrant colors that communicate energy and warmth.
Iconography and photography are used to add visual interest, and special attention is paid to ensure selected photos accurately represent the people and events portrayed.

A tool for training and community connection
The website serves as an influential tool for resettlement practitioners in the community sponsorship space. In addition to sharing the latest information and resources, the site is also home to audience-specific training and brings the broader resettlement community together through communities of practice and weekly lunch-and-learns.
