Alford Group is a national, full-service consultancy committed to accelerating the nonprofit community’s impact and advancing social change. They offer five flagship services centered around strategic planning, fundraising, leadership development, data analytics, and interim staffing.
We initially collaborated with Alford Group to rebrand their organization, refining their messaging and redesigning their logo and visual identity to be bolder and more disruptive. Several years later, we partnered with them again to design a user-centric website, showcasing their services and resources.
The refreshed language highlights Alford Group’s expertise and clearly communicates their advisory role within the nonprofit community. Their messaging is approachable yet assertive and reflects their nearly fifty years of organizational experience.
The updated logo draws inspiration from the original, featuring a ring of “A”s representing “Alford.” Its circular layout communicates collaboration, connections, movement, and unity, while multiple colors demonstrate Alford Group’s commitment to equity-centered practices.
The typography’s rounded geometry conveys Alford Group’s optimistic and approachable personality, complemented by clean lines that present a professional, modern aesthetic. Similarly, the new color palette is bolder but maintains professionalism in its application.
The website highlights Alford Group’s extensive history driving change and growth for clients and serves as a comprehensive resource hub for nonprofits. We achieved this by designing a searchable and filterable resource library (including webinars, blog posts, and case studies), adding impact pages to showcase results across various nonprofit sectors, and creating robust service pages detailing their outcomes, approach, and past clients. The redesign also accomplished key objectives like integration with Hubspot marketing and GA4 and compliance with accessibility standards.
